Massive Movement Project - Lunar and Solar Eclipse

         There are two kind of eclipse, one is lunar eclipse and other is solar eclipse. Lunar eclipse is when the moon go into the earth shadow and it is happen in the full moon(moon phrases during a lunar eclipse). The moon move around the earth is call lunar revolution. Lunar revolution is when the moon revolve around the earth, the lunar revolution length is 29.6 days to finish one revolution. When the moon move into some of the earth shadow at the penumbra, it is call the partial lunar eclipses, which some of the moon is cover by the shadow. When the moon moving more toward inside the earth shadow and into the darkest shadow of earth that is the umbra, it is call the total lunar eclipses which is also call the lunar eclipse. Another one is Solar eclipse, it is when the moon block sunlight to the earth and it is happen in the new moon. The solar revolution is the earth revolve around the sun, and the solar revolution length is take 365 and quarter day to complete one revolution. When the moon is block some of the sunlight to the earth and see few sunlight is call the partial solar eclipses, and it is happen in the penumbra. When the moon is completely cover the sunlight to the earth it is total solar eclipse and it is also call solar eclipse, it is happen in the umbra.

How do the Earth's motions affect us each day?

• The Earth's motions affect us by giving us the day and night. It is because the Earth rotate itself and letting us to see the sun in the day and the moon at the night.

How are the Sun, Moon and Earth work together as a system?

• The Moon revolve around the Earth, and the Earth revolve around the Sun. The Sunlight reflect on the moon, so we can see the moon during the night. But, when the moon go behind the Earth where there is no sunlight, it form a lunar eclipse. And when the moon go in front of the Earth and blocks the sunlight, it form a solar eclipse.

REFLECTION

What did you enjoy most about this project and why?

• In this project, I enjoy editing the video in the iMovie because I like to edit video that make the video seem great and I love music.

What was most challenging for you during this project and why?

• The most challenging things during this project was to work with the group members because no one really want to make this project look awesome, nor work as a team.
